Homeopathy was originally developed by Samuel Hanneman in Germany. It works on the energetic principle of like curing like. All disease or ill health can be said to be an energetic imbalance of some sort. For example, a bruise may cause trauma to an area, but the pain is present because of the energetic, vibrational interaction of certain cellular chemicals with the nerves. If a substance could be found to block or negate that vibration interaction, it would balance the area and alleviate the pain.
In homeopathy, a substance is tested to see what effect it causes (i. e. poison ivy causes a rash). Then it is diluted through a specific series of steps to produce a remedy which is either a minute concentration of the original molecules or a remedy which contains the electromagnetic resonance of the original molecules. When this remedy is given back to the patient, it will counter effect the initial rash caused by the plant.
Modern homeopathy has been greatly enhanced by computer technology. Using state of the art instruments, a patient's bioenergetic fields can be evaluated and a balancing remedy found. Homeopathic remedies can be designed to be very specific or very general, and are often used to enhance the detoxification of the patient as well as treat an individual condition.
